My Travel Essentials

I thought I would share how I go about packing for my longer international trips and how I plan my outfits, for a summer vacation. I always try my hardest to not over pack, but if you ask my husband he would say I am severely unsuccessful.

However, I have learned from my many trips that I don't need to pack more but instead items that can be continuously restyled.

Before you look at my list, I am aware a tanning machine is very excessive but lets just say I'm being sun safe. This one is the size of a hairdryer and is very lightweight, this is also how I justify it to my husband because it is usually put in his luggage.

As for clothing, the key to a classic on-trend wardrobe that is chic for any location includes denim pieces, good quality basics, a staple jacket or blazer and other pieces you can easily mix and match. I also always pack a couple of dresses and playsuits because they don't take up much room and are comfortable.

For my skin, I pack eye and face masks because when I am travelling my skin gets very dry so they are essential.

Lastly a good cross body bag is perfect for carrying your phone and money and is easy to keep track of.
